Tazicef Side Effects

In clinical studies, the active ingredient in Tazicef (ceftazidime) was shown to cause side effects such as diarrhea, headache, dizziness, and inflammation at the injection site. Tazicef is generally well tolerated, however, and most people are able to use it without any problems. If you develop any side effects during treatment, or if you feel that something "just isn't right," let your healthcare provider know.

An Introduction to Tazicef Side Effects

Just like any medicine, Tazicef® (ceftazidime) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with Tazicef. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)
