Rare Elmiron Side Effects

There are other possible Elmiron side effects that can occur. These rare Elmiron side effects occur in less than 1 percent of patients. For these side effects, it is difficult to tell whether the side effect is actually caused by the medication or something else.
 
Some of these possible Elmiron side effects include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Vomiting
  • Gum bleeding
  • Mouth ulcers
  • Constipation
  • Anemia
  • Sore throat
  • Runny nose
  • Itching
  • Pinkeye (conjunctivitis)
  • Inflammation of the optic nerve in the eye (optic neuritis)
  • Inflammation of the vagina (vaginitis)
  • Increased sweating
  • Depression.
     

Elmiron Side Effects: Summary

It is possible that you may experience some or none of these Elmiron side effects. Make sure to let your healthcare provider know if you develop any side effects. Also, let your healthcare provider know if you develop something that "just does not seem right." While it may not be an Elmiron side effect, your healthcare provider will be able to diagnose and treat the problem.
